De Korg Pa 600 is een professioneel arranger keyboard in de traditie van de Pa 800 en Pa 3 X. Hij deelt met deze twee topmodellen de RX- en de DNC-technologie die zorgen voor ongeëvenaard realisme en de noodzakelijke levendigheid in akoestische sounds.
Specifieke speelwijzen en articulaties van akoestische instrumenten kun je aanspreken door middel van twee toekenbare schakelaars en de vierweg joystick.
De Pa 600 QT-versie is bedoeld voor muzikanten die alternatieve toonladders gebruiken,  zoals toonladders met toonsafstanden van kwarttonen en allerhande andere uitheemse toonladders, zoals Arabische toonladders. Ook de interne styles sluiten aan bij het gebruik in oriëntaalse muziek. De QT heeft een aparte bedieningssectie om toonsafstanden aan te passen terwijl je speelt.
Er zijn in beide versies meer dan 360 styles voorhanden. Styles kun je aanpassen of helemaal zelf maken en opslaan. Opvallend zijn de extreem realistische gitaarpartijen die de Enhanced Guitar Mode 2 genereert. Akkoordprogressies kun je on-the-fly opnemen. Hij is voorzien van vier sporen.
Het interne PCM-geheugen is immens en levert dan ook een enorme hoeveelheid aan sounds van zeer hoge kwaliteit. De FX-processor is zeer uitgebreid en krachtig.
Je kunt met de Pa 600 ook mp3’s afspelen, waarbij je ervoor kunt kiezen om de lead vocal te laten verwijderen.
De bediening is door toepassing van een groot kleuren touchscreen zeer comfortabel en overzichtelijk. Hierop kun je ook bladmuziek tonen; in traditionele notatie, met naar keuze noten,  akkoorden en/of tekst.
